Before I start, I’d like to note that none of the images I post here are edited (unless otherwise stated). That’s how good the files are on my Fuji. Okay fanboy moment over. Sorry about that.
So over spring break, my father, sisters and I decided to take a quick day trip to San Francisco to take pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge. I was really happy about this because I’ve been wanting to get a picture of the bridge to print a small poster size photograph to put up in my dorm once I go off to college, since I will be traveling across the country over to New York for school (I’ll probably end up talking about this in my new Musings page at some point, so look out for that).
The first place we stopped at had a view of the bridge, but nothing particularly breathtaking. We hiked around, looking for pictures.

Though we didn’t find much, what we did find was a nice little pier pretty close to the bridge.
On arrival, there were a lot of people also wanting a nice view of the bridge, but that view wasn’t enough. We wanted to find a trail to the beach. At first I thought the “trail” was actually just this really steep one way road, but it turns out it wasn’t! Oops.
After some searching, we FINALLY found the trail and hiked down to the beach. Turns out, this beach was also a nude beach. I’m not sure what it is with me and nude beaches, but I always happen to find them unintentionally. Fortunately, I always get there when they’re empty.
BONUS: I saw this on the way back to the car from the beach and I just thought it would make a perfect archetype Californian picture.
